Daniel O’Connor

I’ve never been someone who has been interested in composition. I’ve always been what I like to call a “feeler”, where I kind of just hover my objects around until something FEELS right, and then I put it there without ever thinking more on the subject. I’ve found this isn’t always a great way to go about things, and so its great to see some art that is so perfectly composed it makes me want to think maybe a little more about my placement. Each of these have such a solemn atmosphere to them, but yet so interesting and vivid. The colors work fantastically well, while being muted they still have such a punch to them that is used in wonderful juxtaposition with other elements throughout the piece.

There isn’t much more on his blog besides these, but they are still definitely worth a gander….
