Harry Clarke is mainly known for his stained glass windows,
but the work I am truly drawn to are his book illustrations. Here you can find such immaculate penwork that you can see where modern day legends such as Sergio Toppi and Moebius have gained some inspiration. His first true published works were Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales, and a illustrated version of Edgar Allen Poe’s works. What, are you kidding me? I love BOTH those guys. I have to get my hand son those writers, illustrated by THIS GUY:
