Geoffrey Johnson

There is just something to be said for Geoffrey Johnson’s eerier style. I can’t put my finger on it, but staring at each image I always feel so solemn and transcended. Its the kind of art that is meant to be stared at for an indefinite amount of time. No music, no noise. His simple (but incredibly precise) technique is so beautiful that you almost don’t notice how absolute each design is. And I think that’s a very important prerequisite for good design – the piece just subconsciously grabs you and doesn’t let you go. And these pieces do that on a multitude of levels.

Sorry for some of the smaller images – there is a lack of high res photos to choose from….! But, I couldn’t help not sharing what I found.
